Alma is a young, ambitious woman running a small company in Barcelona. She dreams of a bigger project — one that would bring in the first million. When the opportunity arises, she and her friends buy an old building in the historic Sant Pere neighbourhood with plans to renovate it into luxury apartments.

But the project forces Alma to confront what she is willing to sacrifice: the tenants who call the building home, the friendships that made the venture possible, and ultimately, her own sense of right and wrong.

Alma de Sant Pere is a film about the collision between tradition and progress, between the logic of profit and the cost of moral compromise. Set against the sunlit streets and crumbling facades of Barcelona, it asks what remains when ambition has run its course.
